Refund & Cancellation Policy

At MemoriaLife, we are committed to transparency and fairness. Creating a digital legacy is a custom, resource-intensive process involving specialized engineering and computational power. This policy outlines when and how refunds are processed to balance customer satisfaction with the operational costs of AI development.

1. The Booking Fee

To initiate any service, a Booking Fee of ₹650 (approx. $25 USD) is required.

• This fee covers the initial consultation, server slot allocation, and data verification.
• This fee is strictly Non-Refundable under all circumstances, even if you choose not to proceed with a full plan.

* "During Processing" refers to the period after you have uploaded photos/audio but before the final delivery link/hardware is sent.

4. Service Timelines & Delays

Customer Delays

If you do not submit the required data (photos, audio samples) within 30 days of booking:

• Your project will be moved to "Archived" status.
• A reactivation fee of ₹1,000 may apply to resume the project.
• No refunds will be issued for projects abandoned by the customer for more than 90 days.

MemoriaLife Delays

We strive to meet all delivery estimates (e.g., 7-10 days for Voice). However, high demand or complexity may cause delays.

• If we delay delivery by more than 14 business days beyond the estimated date without prior notice, you are eligible for a 10% credit on your next renewal or a partial refund upon request.

5. Modification Fees

Once an AI model is finalized, making changes requires significant computational retraining.

• Standard Update: ₹500 ($7 USD) if paid in advance as part of an annual maintenance package.
• Ad-Hoc Update: ₹1,500 ($20 USD) per request for retraining the model with new information or traits after initial delivery.

6. Data Removal & Cancellation

You have the right to cancel your service and request data deletion at any time ("Right to be Forgotten").

• How to Request: Email privacy@memorialife.in with the subject "DELETE DATA".
• Consequence: This action is irreversible. Your AI model, chat history, and uploaded artifacts will be permanently wiped from our servers. No refunds are issued for the remaining subscription period upon deletion.

7. Refund Process

To request a refund:

1. Contact our support team with your Order ID and reason for cancellation.
2. Our billing team will review your request against the stage of your project.
3. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method (Credit Card, UPI, or Bank Transfer).
4. Please allow 5–14 business days for the funds to reflect in your account, depending on your bank's processing time.
